UNITED WE ARE STRONGER
If you need emotional support, one of the psychologists of ABPI can help you.
We are ABPI - Association of Brazilian Psychologists in Ireland, which is a partnership between Brazilian clinical and counselling consultant psychologists based in Dublin, with the aim of promoting projects that bring information about mental health, and promote positive mental wellbeing among the Brazilian community living in Ireland.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR BRAZILIANS LIVING IN IRELAND DURING COVID-19
The psychologists of ABPI - Association of Brazilian Psychologists in Ireland - have joined together in a voluntary action to launch a COVID-19 psychological online free support for Brazilian people living in Ireland facing emotional difficulties due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and can't afford a psychological treatment/ psychotherapy right now.

Our initiative came about due the growing concern among many Brazilians living in Ireland who were experiencing higher stress, anxiety, and depression as reactions to the pandemic of COVID-19. Minority groups such as Brazilian students and expatriates are at increased risk of mental health problems during COVID-19 because of common problems facing expatriates such as loneliness, lack of family and social support, and language barrier.
Many Brazilian expatriates in Ireland may benefit from ABPI online support as they may not be able to access Irish mental health services.

The service will be offered in Portuguese and delivered through an online platform by a volunteer psychologist from the ABPI team. The online consultation will last 30 minutes.
The purpose of this online consultation is not to offer psychotherapy, but rather a professional supportive conversation and a confidential listening session for tough times during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Steps to book an appointment:
1. Fill out the form with your contact information.

2. Read carefully the consultation terms and conditions.

3. Access the link on the last page of the contact form. Select a date and hour according to the psychologists availability.

4. Wait for the psychologist to contact to confirm the appointment.
